I Am A Mad Woman With a Box

Bought some lenses for my iPhone camera. Will be doing a thorough review as soon as I get them!

Question:

Would any of my followers find use in some basic tutorials?

I was thinking of putting something together on basic skin retouching because it’s a useful tool. I might do it anyway just to see what kind of feedback I get.

Thoughts?

This morning while cleaning I discovered a wasp nest in between the screen and storm glass in my front window. This afforded a rare opportunity to photograph the little buggers up close without risk to my face. It was also a chance to break out my macro lens, which I haven’t touched in ages.

I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.

Lightning!
This is not a superb photo or anything, but it is my very first attempt to shoot during a thunderstorm, and at the time I was standing under a metal carport, with my metal tripod, and the hair on my arms was starting to stand up.
It’s a learning process and it wasn’t the best place to shoot from in terms of subject matter. Next time I found a much nicer, possibly safer place to photograph from. :)
